Louis Armstrong International Airport – New Terminal

Overall, work at the airport is estimated to be $1 Billion. That includes $1 Billion for the design and construction of the new terminal, a 2,000-space parking garage and items such as additional parking areas and the partial demolition of the current terminal. Another $45 million will go toward other improvements at the airport, including relocating lighting and navigational aids and a new access road.

A third Concourse was added for International Flights adding $175 Million to the project budget while maintaining the original project completion date. Beta established an on-site facility and is the EXCLUSIVE Quality Control Materials Testing Lab for the project, which daily staff includes: Fifteen {15) concrete and soils technicians, two {2) Quality Control Resident Inspectors, Project Manager and Project Engineer.

Overall Cost: $1 Billion

Scope of Work: The Beta Group is performing Resident Inspection Services and various construction material testing and inspection.

Relevant Testing: Concrete Testing, Asphalt Plant and Field Inspection, Pile Logging, Welding Inspection, Pre-placement Inspection, Surcharge Program, and Soils Testing
